The gun that shot down the Axis

The Browning .50 caliber Machine Gun

I just got this cool new title in, and shame on me for not telling many people about it ahead of time. This 60-page photo study in our USAAF Photo Journal format covers the famous Browning M2 .50 caliber aircraft machine guns (as well as the .50 caliber MGs used as anti-aircraft guns). I lost count of the great photos in there of B-17, B-24, B-25, B-26, A-20 and A-26 bomber turret, waist, belly, wing and nose guns. Then there are the nose and wing guns of the P-38, P-39, P-40, P-47, P-51 and P-61. Finally, there are the various anti-aircraft .50 caliber guns on all kinds of mounts and emplacements from the North Atlantic to the South Pacific. Lots of great detail of the aircraft, the mounts and sights, and of course of the big Browning MGs. I think this title is really going to tickle your trigger finger!
