USAAF Photo Journal Issues 2 & 3 Now Available!

US Army Air Forces Photo Journal Issue 2That’s right folks, we’re not just releasing just one new issue of US Army Air Forces Photo Journal. We have two brand new issues ready for sale!

After producing several “special issues”, I finally got around to getting “regular issue” two into print. I think you are going to like this, because on top of stories about the B-26 Marauder, the A-26 Invader, the P-61 Black Widow, and the story of the Japanese suicide commando attack on Yontan Field in 1945, Issue Two also features fantastic color art from internationally renowned aviation artist Ted Williams. The photos are great and Ted’s artwork is even better. Available now!

Since I finally finished Issue Two, I kept rolling right on into Issue Three. We start out with more outstanding aviation art from the great Ted Williams, and then we cover: the Mustang A fighter/A-36 Invader dive bomber, B-17 gun positions, the do-everything Douglas A-20 Havoc, Bristol Beaufighters in USAAF service, and the strange story of “Operation Gunn” in the MTO. It’s a simple recipe for popular aviation magazine: great photos, artwork, and stories about interesting USAAF aircraft and air battles.
